So I had the idea, that we are marionettes manipulating each other. So Stephen on the left is manipulating. Wayne with the baseball bat and Wayne on the right is manipulating Stephen with a golf club. This was shot 4x5 and created in camera with cross processing. This is the way the film looks. NO Photoshop. I created the illusion with the difference in the thickness of rope. That's all. They made T shirts and used it as a paper promo, but they were getting complaints that it was two white guys. They failed to see that each was holding each other's strings. Who else could you have picked? No one that wouldn't create gender or race controversy - nothing we would have any part of. It was simply two white guys messing with each other. I liked that.
